The next meeting of the Spartanburg Estate Planning Council will be on September 6th. We will meet in the Fairforest Room of the Piedmont Club at 12:30. Please RSVP by Noon on Friday, September 1st.
Our guest speaker will be Joe Tantillo, Director and Retirement Specialist at Merrill Lynch. Joe will discuss some basic Social Security information, recent changes (such as file-and-suspend), and misconceptions about Social Security. This should be very helpful as we are advising clients who are approaching retirement.
